It's aoutomotive paint, mixed to match the car.
Cleaned it, really good.

Very interesting, thanks for the information. I've thought about doing mine. GM just loves that damn Pewter color. My truck and vette are the same pewter color so I can use the paint 2 for 1.

I did use a flex additive in the clear coat on the lid and intake though.
Might keep it from cracking.

I just nutted my pants. Looks awsome. Thats exactly what i want to do to my intake when i get my ls6 intake manifold. Great job.
