Default Should I have my car wet sanded?

I am getting my car painted this week and the body shop said they would wet sand it for an extra 500-600 bucks. This is the first car I have had painted and I don't know how much better it will look if I have it sanded. Is there really that much of a difference?

Yes it would be smooth and glassy. Not like the factory crappy paint job. But a nice paint job is all about prep work.

You would regret not having it done. Nothing looks better than a nice flat shiney surface.
