Default i wet saded the bird off..

i wet seded the bird off the middle of tail light and now i want to make the plastic look like glass, HOW??????????????? it looks like **** and its faded help thanks

'Search' function should come in handy about now, ...

'Taillight center section', & other words like that will help.

If you sand it, you will have to buff out the sanding scratches. The finer the sand paper the easier it will be to remove the scratches. I would use 1000 or 1500 grit.

wet sand it w/ 1500 then 2000 grit then get some 3M plastic polish and that will make it nice and shiny again

I did pretty much what these guys said. Sand to 2000 grit. Then bust out the polish. I highly recommend you use a buffer other wise thats just more elbow grease than anyone is willing to use. Took me only a few mins of buffing and it was shiny as the rest of the car.

i used 1500 and then 2000. and got the old bird off but should i use to for polish
