Default Whistler Mod, Yes or No?

What is your opinion on this, should I do the Whistler Mod to my headlights? I am thinking Gloss Black on my Red Z. I have all the supplies to do it, I just don't want to screw up mu headlights by doing it and then having it look terrible.

I voted no just because I think it looks best on black or NBM cars, but if you like it then do it. Definetly use gloss black.

Do it if you like it. And if you screw up, you now have a good excuse to get Halo's

Halo's would be a no go for me, I personally do not like how they don't flow with the car as nice as the stock ones do. I am just unsure about doing this mod, because I have never seen it done on a car in person so idk how good it will look. I like how it looks in pictures but for a lot of things pictures just don't do it justice.

i think that it is a good idea for an appearence mod, but then again my car is navy blue. i also agree that the halos mess up the lines of the car, but each to their own.
i was wondering what color to do the inside of my haadlights, either flat or gloss black. still have not decided.

Post some pics of it on your pewter car when you are done. The more I think about it, the more I want to do it to mine.

Go for it I think that it will look awesome with gloss black on a red car.
I also agree with you on the halo's I like the idea but they really just dont flow with the lines of the hood.

Did it fog them up? Discolor them? Theres a sticky on here about cleaning up headlights. Sanding and whatnot. It is alot of work, but new headlights are damned expensive.

I'm going to go ahead and do the whistler mod. After looking around it really doesnt look that difficult, and I saw some pictures of it on a pewter car, and it was nice. I'll post pics when I'm done.
