i think it's ok... not a big fan of chrome and you see black stripes like that all the time so I dont think the car's very original.. but it does look nice. that driver side stripe thing is strange though.. definatly dont like that.. usually i think lowering the car makes it look sleek and mean while ground effects make the car look too bulky to me for some reason, but with 18s ground effects might actually look alright...

Is it for a TV Show? If so its pretty boring, I would think you could come up with some better ideas....

I'll try and steer you in the right direction.
Twin turbo 427 with a 150 shot of nitrous with a big ole front mount intercooler
custom leather interior
ghost flames would be cool
deep dish wheels (WIDE!!!!) maybe 18x11 out back and 18x10 up front
custom made sub enclosure
etc etc etc

Performance - a cam.

Show - something creative to spruce up the lackluster dash.

Not bad. Rims look cool, but wider is better. Not sure what to think about the sub box. Looks cool in a weird way.

Get rid of the following:
JVC 6160 AM/FM/CD/DVD/MP3 HEAD UNIT
2 12” JL AUDIO SUBS
500\1 JL AUDIO FLOATING AMP
300\4 JL AUDIO FLOATING AMP
2 JL AUDIO MIDS
2 7” FLIP DOWN DVD SUN VISOR SCREENS
2 ECLIPSE AUDIO MIDS
NEON LIGHT KIT
FIBERGLASS CUSTOM SHELLS AND BOX

and replace it with the following:
Twin turbo 427 with a 150 shot of nitrous with a big ole front mount intercooler

Ditch the rims and the side stripe. The subs are a little over the top for my taste and the neon is just no good at all. I would go nuts on the motor as well. Maybe not as serious as Zangel but def. something stout such as Big turbo or stroker

Well, you asked...

I have a Silver Z-28 and am NOT a fan off an SS hood on a Z-28, to me it says I wanted the SS, but couldn't afford it, so I'm kind of making my own...

In addition to the Ultra Z hood, I have seen some cool cowl induction hoods that do NOT look like SS hoods, and I favor them if you must change the hood...I'll eventually change mine, but just got the car...

The hood stripes are alright, but certainly not anything unique

I suppose the grill is alright, I have a silver billett en route for mine...

The 35 on the side does nothing for me, not sure that thick stripe with the Z-28 emblem does either.

But I like the idea of a Z getting it's props

boy oh boy.

Ok lose the side stripe. (WTF was that all about anyways?)

Lose the GTO Gauges (errr I mean JL Audio sub boxes)

Lose ANY neons. I didnt see any but someone said you had neons on the car?!?

Build the motor up. You dont have to do FI and you dont have to have crazy amounts of nitrous either. Get yourself a nice strong lopey cam.. and get a small shot (maybe 100 dry shot. This is a VERY easy system to put in and monitor as well).

Depending on what type of TV show it is going on is the way the car should shoot for.

MTV - RICE IT OUT TO NO END

Horsepower TV - 427 Twin Turbo

This Old House - get a waggon for it to tow lol (just kidding on that one)

I hope this helps.

I am not normally critical but if you are gonna show the car on tv.. DO NOT bring MY value down on my car with people thinking we have stupid silly **** in the car.

I work hard on keeping my car strong/classy/and heritage styled sort of speak.

I wish you well.. But i think your project needs a new project manager.

yep... I saw your suggestion and figured that would be a much better attention grabber

Anyways, as much as I hate to say this... you wouldn't need to go THAT far (although it wouldn't hurt), but performance would be much better than all the ricey neon lights and stereo stuff.

Actually not a fan but I don't like chrome rims on a silver car. Just my .02 but anyways that big black stripe I don't like either. The JL's are also a feature I don't like. Sorry just not a fan. But good luck with it

Well, since this is the appearance section and not the performance section, let's concentrate on the appearance, shall we?

The side stripe is an interesting idea, but I think it doesn't work that well because of the lines of the car. I think it might've worked better if you have black mirrors and then the side stripe coming down from there, maybe not but hopefully you get the point... it just needs to be tied in better. Also, the side stripe reminds me too much of the new Shelby Mustang, has a side stripe kinda like that one too. I wouldn't go so far as to say lose it all together, but maybe if it were placed differently it might flow together better. I do like the idea, as it's unique.

The 35th decals on the C-pillar, eh, not my favorite idea. It's just kinda random, like the side stripe. I think your better bet would've been to do the 35th decal where the front nose badge is, that would've made more sense and wouldn't be random.

Ground effects can help a lot with the looks of a car, maybe the Xenon or the Wings West. Different hood, different spoiler... get some stuff that's unique and not that popular. Obviously you're trying to build a unique car that doesn't blend in, so go all out. Don't worry if some people don't like what you've done. It's your car, do what makes you happy with it.

True, a single turbo is way more than enough for most people
