i need to put some new adhesive on a carbon fiber z28 i just bought, but dont know what kind. is the spray adgesive safe to put on the car? if not...i wanna find an adhesive that i cant put down on the emblem, and then cut the excess off with a razor blade so the entire emblem is covered. i bought some kind of clear stuff, but its kinda strechy and hard to cut since it moves around alot.

Go to an automotive re-finishing store, not an auto parts store, and get the 3M emblem adhesive tape. It is 1/32" thin. AutoZone sells 3M tape, but it is not 1/32" thin. You want something that will hold, and have a low profile.
