Exclamation RK Sport SS hoods - fitment/quality/etc

Might be purchasing one very soon, so I need some feedback ASAP as to whether or not it's good quality and took much to get yours to fit. Thanks.

well, I bought that used one and repaired it. . .It was in fact an RK and it fit alright. Needed to adjust my hood hinges, drill holes for moving it more towards the drivers side and forward. The alignment wasn't PERFECT though. Was a tad narrow at the rear so the hood got tighter in fitment as it went forward. Don't know if the fenders have adjustments out. . .don't think so. But I'm sure something can always be done.

In general, 1-10, I give it about an 8.5-9.0

they require patience. i did one. slotthe hinges te latch and some other stuff you can make it work, id buy a used OE for 6-700 if i wanted a SS hood,If you can get the rk for 300 or so its fine otherwise i don't recommend it.

Looks like I'm gonna hold out I guess. I'm not REALLY set on an SS hood, just was a pretty cheap local deal on a brand new hood. I'd much rather prefer a VFN Sunoco which I think I'll wait for instead.

I have one, it needs to come down towards the front end, and could be centered a little better. If I wash my car when the motor is hot, water steams off of the intake. I'm getting a real SS hood eventually. The billet thing also looks gay, and it would look even gayer if you took it off.

The hood itself does not steam, the water runs off the minshild into my engine compartment....I believe. Needless to say, I only washed my car when it was semi-warm the first time I got it.....always cool now.
