Hmm I have mixed feelings about that. It would really come down to how the real headlight looked. As it stands now, the fixed headlights just don't look good enough to justify the price

I love it, just wish it came in a plug and play type setup rather than a true custom job.

There is alot more detail in the Photoshop file. Photobucket wouldn't take the bigger .jpg, so I had to shrink it, it lost a great deal of detail.
Here is a pic with both lights done...Man I wish I could fabricate.
This is still a work in progress, I'll be cleaning it up later.

I dont like any fixed headlight assembly I have ever seen on a firebird, it just wasnt meant to be on the fourth gens, they look so much better without it. Maybe like a retracting lid over some fixed headlights would look good (like an eyelid) but the solid color of the headlights closed just cant be beaten IMO

On a black car you could get away with Nightshading the headlight covers to sort of simulate the stock look, if you wanted the fixed lights.

Just a thought.

WOW fry me up. I also prefer Pop-ups, but after going through a plastic gear and a Brass gear, now I'm on a new headlight motor, I will try just about anything. The actual lights can be changed, but I like the part that holds the light, sort of like a C6, it would be the black or the color of the car.

+1.

Good idea, I just dont like how they look right now. Maybe using 2 C6 style lights, or do 2 square HID style lights would look better. Im with BAD *** tho, they just look like 3000GT lights right now

Here we go again. Ok, so I scraped my original idea and used a pic of my car, morphed some C6 headlights on it, and tried to match the color as much as possible for now. I know there are some who dislike any kind of non-pop-up lights, heck, I love mine when they're functioning properly, I just want to see what I can come up with. Be careful, I'm emotionally fragile.
