I just want you to know...you aren't going to get positive feedback about underbody neons. Not here at least.

Im gonna go with a definate...no good. Neons are absolutely not for muscle cars of any kind, especially an f-body. Could you imagine a corvette with neons?? No way...it just doesnt fit. But as with anything else, I guess if it makes you happy, do what you like.

give this guy a break...he asked if anyone else had them on their cars, not if you thought he was a dumbass for putting neons under his car...I have actually seen a 30th aniversary T/A..(white with the blue stripes and wheels) with blue underbody neons at a car show and I think it actually looked really really good..and I am not one for putting them on a these cars, but im not gonna come on here and bash someone for doing it...

To each his own I guess, but there is no reason to bash.

hmmm.....35th aniversary T/A's dont come with white and blue stripes....being that I have a 35th Aniversary T/A and they only were issued in 2002 in Yellow with Black pin stripping and a special collectors edition "screaming chicken" decal/ embrodary pacakage i would highly doubt that you ever saw a 35th aniversary T/A that was white and blue....but hey who knows right maybe pigs can fly too

Actually the 2002 CETA is not an anniversary, it is "Collectors Edition Trans AM", the 30th anniversary edition Trans Am is what he is mistakenly referring to and it is a 1999 year model.

my mistake, I didn't count how many years the T/A has been around..I guess I havent seen one then...must have been a 30th anniversary model then which would make it a 99, which they did come in white with blue....what do you know, pigs might just fly afterall

Not trying to be an ***.....I figured you either meant a 30th i.e. 99 or just a regular T/A....but had to give you a hard time being its the car that i currently drive .....furthermore, like i said to each his own, and in my younger days haha which werent that long ago I had an eclipse all done up but since then I have gone through my conformation into the world of "real" sports cars and left behind my evil ricer ways haha but i agree that each person should do wat they want and they have the right to put anything on there cars and to answer the question no I dont have neons but if you do i suppose moe power to ya

Huh, that's funny. Back in the day, underbody neons were very popular with mopar and trucks. You realize that the import crowd had to get the idea from somewhere, underbody neons were around long before the imports.

Regardless of the close mindedness that you'll obviously see on this board, the neons are pretty cool. I personally went with underbody LEDs instead, as they'll be a little more rugged and won't break as easilly. I haven't installed them yet, though, waiting for one of my days off to have nice weather so I can install it. Nothing wrong at all with wanting your car to stand out. And fact of the matter is, a lot of guys that at stuff they read on here, if they saw it in person, they'd go "Hey, that's cool.." It's just easy to be an e-punk on a message board.

Personally i think that they are but thats my opinion and you do what you want to your car. I dont think that an F-Body looks good with Neons.

Wait didn't hot Rods have neons on then before "The Fast and the Furious" series came out, so wouldn't that go back to tradition hot rod/muscle cars?

Hey man, it's your car...If you like them, then enjoy it...I have seen them on cars and am a fan as I have a kit...

So if I found a way to light up the bird between the taillights on my car, and used a neon light I guess I would be a ricer...lol
