Tinited window will make a differnce for the good. Though I have seen some non-tinted windows that didn't look bad.

Tinting the windshield will look great. I have wanted to do this for a while, but i cannot find a shop that will do the whole windshield.

bought the car with 6K miles, first owner did the tint. I believe it to be 15% on the sides and 35% on the windshield:

Check out my car domain site- I have 5% tint on the back windshield and 5% on both of the side window's. Its a pain in the *** to see out both the side windows and back window at night, however the back window works excellent for those people with trucks that are right on your *** at a stop light trying to blind you. During the day it works as an excellent sun blocker but then again I live in area where the 5 O's are a pain in the *** about tints and people get pulled over left and right (3 times to me in a year) but OVERALL- I would highly recommend it.

Also, suprisingly with my old Camaro, I've taken the tint off myself. Its actually really easy as long as you get it professionally done and done right indeed. you just need a razor blade to get the edge started and then just work your way across pulling it off slowly- just like your pulling off a giant sticker off of wallpaper without trying to rip it!

i have a question...doesnt the tint make the view ahead a slight bit hazY??
my buddy has a GTO and had the front windshield tinted....at night...it made halo's around street lights and stuff....was this just a bad tint job?

i didn't even realize my windshield was tinted until about the 3rd day i had it when i was looking at the outside of it.

only slightly darker at night than with no tint, and no - no hazing effects.

I still don't have it in me to do that. I have 20% all around and its hard enough to backup sometimes.

I used to have it on my DD Firebird, I had 15% on the sides and rear and 25% on the front. Wasn't ever that bad at night, but when it got really humid after it rained and the window fogged up, it would take forever for the defogger/froster to work its magic. It looked awesome on an all black car and def. helped in the Florida Sun. I've got 5% on the sides and back of my T/A and want to get 25-35% on the front, but I need a new windshield first!

I have 20% with 5% over it on the back window. 5% on the sides, and 35% on the windshield. Granted i cant see **** out the back window at night but i just open my door to back up. I couldnt be more happier with tinting my windshield. I love it during the day, and at night i actually feel that i see the road better. I love it and i would recomend doing 35% on the windshield. Looks Pimp IMO.

50% you wont notice much at all. Go with 30% that seems to look good and not to dark to get yourself pulled over . i have it on my car Now on the sides .. Sry no pics tho

You'd get raped by cops here on Long Island for something like that. They already give so much crap just for the side windows.

I've been thinking about tinting my front windshield. I just renewed my registration and inspection stickers, so I have a year before I need to worry about getting them off. I figured if I tinted the whole windshield 35%, then put a 2.5% strip at the top, cops probably wouldn't notice it was tinted. Especially if all my other windows are 2.5%.

I'm planning on 50%, but is it not really worth it? Is 35 a lot better?

ive got 5% on the sides and 5% over 10% on the back. the only reason i think the cops dont pull my *** over now is cause of my fire dept. sticker on the front above my inspection/reg. but if i was to tint the front i know they would pull my *** over then.
