here is the stripe kit i want to get for my ultra z hood and my car, there based on the 35th aniversary stripes tell what you think

i dont know about those lines..maybe if i was to see them on a (pewter) ls1 , i would get a better idea

thanks and yes i have more pics and will post them when i get home. they are actually ss hood stripes that i cut and put on reversed since i did not know any one sold them for the ultra z hood, i had the stripes cause i was originally going to get an ss hood.

Ive always like the hockey stripes, as well as Z28 stripes. Both on the same car look alright as well.

I was wondering what to do also. I was thinking about having some vinyl cut like the Blackbird stripes with LS1 toward the front. (See pic) Yay or nay? In silver and simple.

I like the stripes, only if they were solid tho. Those Blackbird style stripes look cool too

 

If I (or anybody) can get a good template, we should get some made. There is no other stripe like this for the Ultra Z. Trust me, I've looked. Let me know if anyone can help get these stripes going. I would think there are enough of us out there with these hoods that are looking to spiff 'em up a bit. Like NHRA said, solid, no outer thin stripes. The LS1 or whatever would be cut out so your car color will come through.
