I know GM never made such a car for the LS1 years.
Did they make one for the LT1 years? If they did, I've never seen one.
Has anybody taken a hardtop Formula and put T/A bumpers, ground effects, and hatch on it to have a "hardtop T/A". Would be an interesting project, and I might do it once I get out of college and get some money to burn.

there were only a few prototype 98 ls1 t/A hardtops. They did offer ls1 formula hardtops tho. LT1 t/a's and formulas could be hardtops. A member on here did a ls1 conversion on his lt1 hardtop, so in essence it looks like he has an ls1 hardtop t/a. Maybe he'll chime in, his car was caddilac pearl white.

GM, or should I say PONTIAC got smart with the LS1's. You won't find a cloth interior in a LS1 Trans-Am from the factory either.
