ASCD makes a good one as far as aftermarket goes. You're going to pay $600-700 for a good aftermarket one. The best fitting is the original GM hood, so try to find one of those used for $400-600.

OEM will always be your best bet but if you are unable to find one ASCD IMHO is your next best bet. Here is a pic of my ASCD SS hood.

I've removed my stock hood, installed an RK Sports hood and then reversed them by myself. Be careful is all I can say.

I recently sold my slightly damaged SS hood for 375. Expect to pay at least 600+ for one that just needs to be repainted. If I were you, I would stay clear of aftermarket hoods. My GM replacement hood fits perfect. That is the only way to go. You will regret an aftermarket in the long run, no matter how slight the difference is.

As said, the GM SS hood will fit best.
The ASCD SS hood fits very well.

Duffster has one if I'm not mistaken. Not sure if he is on this forum, but I know he is on camaroz28.com. He has an RKsport for sale.

LMPerformance has the RKSport SS hood for 535.50... Should I go with that? Does it come with the hole cut out?

People usually grow to regret a decision to go the cheap route once they realize the quality is no comparison. I always buy the best available, that way I never regret buying something due to quality, hence, in the long run, you will regret it.
