Default Steel

Definately steel...I cut a shaker scoop hole in a spare with a Dremel tool and it feels and bends (the cut piece) like steel. BTW, I bought my used hood for $50! I have seen others for average of $150.

The 6-cylinder, Z28, Formula, and Trans Am hoods are all steel. The SS and WS6 hoods are fiberglass.

I always shake my head in frustration when I see people on here proclaiming that their "SS hood is made of metal! I swear!"
