Clear T/A tail light housings?
Who makes clear tail light housing for a 2000 t/a i saw some on a car but i haven't been able to find them anywhere??? please help

I am considering heat forming some clear lexan over the stock lens to make a clear piece, then cut out the stock lens and glue in the new one. I would use LED's in some nice looking pattern and then smoke the whole thing with VHT Nite-Shades. I think it would be badass.

well if i have to get a set and tear them apart to get clear i guess that aint all that bad but for lighting i was gonna use l.e.d. lights also have you guys seen these?

You'll also need to switch to electronic flashers if you use LED lights. I have more info on LED replacement bulbs, but I think you said you wanted to make your own, right?
Also, if you plan to tint the whole thing you don't necessarily need to have clear lenses. The LT1 firebird used solid red lenses. You can take those apart and arrange a custom array of red LED's and then seal them back up. Then tint it a little to make it look nice.
Don't forget that for them to be legal you need some red reflectors in the rear.

could you please photochop it on a black T/A? I think the reverse lights lens should stay round it looks like the silver t/a has the ls1 lens just the red removed, how do you do that?
