Bird ****!!!
Every day when I leave work I go out to my car and there is always some huge pile of bird **** on the hood or the roof. I go home and get out some detailer spray and get the **** off. BUT the car has sat outside in the sun for 8 hours and the place where the **** was is always dull as hell and if you rub your finger over the place the crap was its always a difrerent texture than the rest of the paint.
Is the **** eating into the clear?
what can be done to resolve these and get these "spots" out? and Prevent it from "staining the paint" .. BTW is use NXT every few months and quick wax after washing

Yes, if the droppings are left on the paint too long, it can/will etch the paint. At that point, it will require a paint polish to remove the etching.
NXT has very limited durability in my experience. If that's what you like to use, I would recommend applying it at least once a month.

lol... I try to put bakin soda on bird ****... I've always heard it will neutralize the acidic properties of the ****. Im no scientist though... I know it would have to be on the paint along long time before it did any major damage though.

I hate birds. They seem to hate anything shiny. There are NO trees where I park and I park in the middle of the lot and STILL wind up with bird crap on my car it seems like about every time I drive it. I keep the Meguiars detailer spray in the car and clean it off as quickly as I can. I haven't had any that left lasting spots on the paint though.

LOL at responses. I park in the middle of a large lot. Definantly not under the oak tress where most of the bird area and all the sap.
Guess Im going to have to try and wax more often. Going to look for something that will provide me with some more protection as well.
