Default To end all berger panel threads!!!

here is a place that sells the panel in flat black, little expensive but if you really want one and dont want to prep and paint this is your best bet.

Is it really flat black or just the color of the primer/plastic?

Yeah, it's not worth it if you can go to the dealer and pay less....

Nope the panel is not primer black it comes in the color you see the gray plastic. When WCA (WorldWide Camaro now Ecklers/WCA) did the tech article for the rear panel on my car several years back they tossed around the idea of selling complete painted rear tail panels but opted not to because of shipping problems with painted parts.

all 93-02 camaros had the same pannel, the easiest and cheapest thing would be to go to your local junkyard and pick a black one up for $60 (what they wanted for one here) and just put it on there

I paid $25 off ebay

Yet somehow the panel keeps coming out shitty It looks smooth in some spots and rough in others (almost scuffed up). I'm using very light coats and evenly coating it. I just don't understand what the hell is going on and it's really pissing me off. I even wetsanded it again with 1000 grit to get it smooth and sprayed it satin again... still the same crap. I don't get what's goin on... why can't it just come out right??
