Another HID projector project.
Not finished yet, but I figure i'll post some work in progress pics. The halogen silverstar bulbs I have in there aren't even secured, just sitting there. I was just trying to get my rotational adjustments taken care of in the test shot.
Day 1 pics:
Me slicing and dicing with a dremel to get the TSX projectors on.
TEST SHOT. This is a work in progress. I still need to adjust the aiming/rotation among other things. Although they came out much better than expected in this test.
Picture of the color change effect with silverstars.
Excuse the angle here, I was trying to get a good pic of the color change from an oncoming traffic aspect.
All in all, I got a lot done in day one.
Day two will consist of painting the projectors and housings with some high temp black paint. Perhaps I can get my final adjustments done as well.
Projectors are Acura TSX projectors, and the bulbs I used were silverstars. I have some Phillips 4300K HIDs on order.

so much easier to do in a camaro than in a LT1 Bird! I had to send my housing fabrication project to a pro fabricator! I'm using Bosch E46 Projectors. I'm not worrying about high beams, since I have HID fogs too, and no inspections in FLA. I think I'm gonna switch my foglight color to 3000k and use 6000k for the headlights once all is said an done!

i think the 3000k in the fogs and the 6000k in the headlights would like good.

Hey blade how long are those TSX projectors? If they are smaller than the E46 projectors, I'll ditch those and pick some of those up lol. The E46 ones are bout 5 1/4 inches long. I won't have a problem, with fitments with these, I just have to cut some metal which I don't really want to do! And yes the E46 is from BMWs

Finished!
And oh man did I cut it close, but the cover plastic cover when on without touching. It's OK for my first time. I'll post pics when everything is dried up. I deviated from the whistler method a little bit when painting because I wanted my brights to work just how they did before.
