Default To etch, or not to etch..?

I'm thinking about putting some etch style vinyl on the back window of my '67 camaro with one or both of these designs.. what are your opinions?

1. Bowtie in the middle, maybe 12x20, rounded edges

2. "Camaro" in classic writing, like so..

3. Both, like this...

I say either one or the other, both on the back window would be a little much in my opinion. But thats just me.

You could have a vinyl company cut you those decals in etched glass vinyl, looks pretty real.

I mean one inside the other, exactly like the image. The small black line would remain un-etched, and i'd etch the bowtie much less than the "camaro"

if you do put somethingon the window do it in vinyl. don't etch it. i work at a sign shop and use that stuff all the time, looks very real. if you put it on and don't like it you can always just take it off...

dude...dont etch into the glass....it may look good but when it rains or gets dirty its gonna be a pain in the *** to clean...cuz it will all get stuck in their. try window vinyl or something a little less permenint.

That would be a hard etch to do since you want the "camaro" part to show up, but it could be done. I bet it would be awesome. Yes do it!

For tinted windows and etching pics. Here is my 79 El Camino with crossflags etched and 20% tint. The etching look so nice at night and tint really helps it look better.

Also vinyl look like cheap compaired to etchings, but at the same time etchings cant be undone. So you choose. But at every car show me and wife bring are cars do 90% of the people there stop to talk to us and ask us how we do it, if we can do that for them or just how much they like it.

TUMBLRws6- you have an awesome car but what the **** are you talking about! When window ethcing get dirty you just wipe them off like normal glass. Etching don't "eat" into the window it just gives it is a frosted layer on top of the window.

Glad you reconsidred, I think youll be happier knowing if you dont like it you can just remove it, instead of having to live with it. Im not really a big fan of etching though.
