I just spent about 3 hours making THAT, outta
that
I basically focused on the underside of the hood ( looked like my *** after a nice hearty **** ) and my fender's, which had 10 years of nasty in every crook and cranny, the shock towers were the absolute worse, and the simple green doesn't feel good in the cuts... Oh well. this weekend ( next time I have free time ) I am gonna go at again, gotta sand a few things, gotta polish the fuel rails, polish the intake runners, clean the nasty alt * just seen that lol * and try something on the fuel line looms..

Nice work man. Check out this thread that I started last year after cleaning my engine bay. I had only cleaned it twice in 6 years on the before picture. The after picture was after only about 30 -40 minutes work. Gunk Foamy engine brite and CD2 detailer are kick *** products. Hope this helps you save time and energy in the future. Cleaning can be a bitch.

Yea, thats great for a ls1, but with the lt1, you REALLY have to be carefull about getting water on the opti, hell, my car idled a bit weird in the middle of the day just b/c it was VERY humid... Thanks for the suggestions though, Maybe I can try some of that stuff, just applying it by hand.

looks good man... heres some advice, since your intake/elbow/radiator cover are the parts that are most obvious, take them apart and focus on them. them put them back on shining oh so brightly
