This is true. Black looks GREAT clean. Until you drive it from the shade, the sunlight hits it, and reveals the hidden spiderweb paint job!

Those spots sound like baked in bug guts. I had that on my black 95 Firebird. I bought it that way..although I didn't know it because it had a bra on it. Now I know why. I have a couple small spots on my Camaro that don't come out. I haven't clayed them yet though.

Looks damn close (tho not that bad )
Did any of the suggestions work for you?
It can't be baked on bug guts, they never sit on the car, as soon as I see a smashed bug, it's wiped off (keep a bottle of Z7 and water in the car, along with a MF towel)

My paint has that as well. I'm pretty sure it's just from driving the car everyday, almost like a sandblast effect. And it's basically the same thing that happens to Camaro headlights over the years, how they develop the hazy look to them.

I'm going to attempt to wetsand mine out sometime in the near future.
