That would be my car.
Thanks Landon. The car looks great. It has never looked this clean.
I have never noticed the tips before. It came from the factory that way. But you're right, they would look better tucked up some. Guess I'll have to get it to the exhaust shop to rectify the situation.

Looks awesome! Are those Fiske rims? Dawn soap, eh? I was under the assumption you weren't supposed to use that sort of soap to wash a car. Maybe I'm not understanding it though.

They're I Forged wheels. 18" I Forged Aeros. 18x9 in the front and 18x10 in the rear.
I had the same assumption about the dawn soap, but what do I know. He got it clean for sure. I think the dawn soap strips the wax and some other stuff off, so that he could start with a clean surface.

Dawn soap def. isnt good on a car very often... however, when clay barring the car, its best to get as much off of the car as you can. Dawn is the best way to get down to the surface again. Once in a while wont hurt though. I detailed cars at a body shop and on occasion, we'd use dawn just b/c it removes everything.. oil, grease, anything that can get on the paint before we painted it. But, like landon said... use dawn to strip away the old wax & get back to the base... and build it back up w/ fresh, high quality products.
Makes for a long, but fun day... Seeing those pictures makes me miss having a red Fbody. It looked so-so when it was clean, but looked amazing when it was waxed or pollished.
