The transformation begins!! *pics*
Ok, so I have decided to go in a different direction with my interior, its going to be all gloss black (except the dash because I have to be able to drive it, it will just be black). I MAY keep some of the red accents in there but I'm not sure yet.
Anyway here is what I spent my day on, I am pretty happy with the console, and the radio bezel looks like ****. I will probably be redoing both as I'm not 100% happy with how the console turned out.
TadAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA.
I know I still have alot of red to remove, but it takes time
and here is what it used to look like............

Yea, I used krylon fusion, one word of warning though, if you are painting over paint, it does some REALLY crazy ****.... I probably spent 2 hours sanding the top of the console to get all the red paint off because my first attempt any place where there was a decent amount of red still left, it cracked and bubbled all crazy...

This is just my opinion but I think sometimes we try to hard to make our interiors stand out. Stock is already bland so just the littlest things tend to stand out. My goal when I start my interior project is to keep everything simple and add the things I feel that make it more comfortable and fun to drive.

Lookin' better bro!
The paint cracked because it's a different chemical make-up than the last brand so it had a reaction...
Are you going to kill all the red stuff or are you going to leave a bit? Paint the door speakers black next.

All the small stuff is going to be next (probably wednesday) speaker grilles, and door switch / handle panels gloss black. Probably when I am off school for the summer I will be tackling the big panels, doors and dash, reupholstering the cloth part of the door panel with black leather, carpet will come eventually and deleting the back seat , it will be

Keep it up with the black.
Doing the AC vents in that same gloss black will look really good. If you HAVE to keep an accent color, I'd switch to gunmetal/silver. It'd look really nice with the gloss black.

Alot of that red is still showing on the stuff you re-painted black. It might be a lot better in the long run to just get some interior parts cheap from a junk yard and trash the red panels.
It will be harder to sell your car a couple years from now when the buyer sees the home-painted panels. You might not think about it now, but someday you'll want to sell it and the last thing you'll want to do is spend money on panels at the time of sale... but you'll need to.

the last picture looks like a stawberry vomited in the car.
Its coming out ALOT better.
I am not trying to hate on your car. Its yours and God bless on whatever you decide for her. But for ME, I am not feeling all the red. Some little things I understand... but like my first sentence stated.. a very sick strawberry was the passenger in your ride at some point.
Best of luck
