Im pretty sure my SS has 15 or 20 percent all the way around and Ive never had problems with seeing out. I just got my Ranger tinted 15% all the way around for $135 plus a "brow" up top. Im very happy with 15% and would recommend that to most people.

Remember, when looking at pictures of other peoples cars with their tint, you need to keep in mind the darker the interior, the darker the windows will seem. I have/had an all black interior in my SS with 20% tint and it looks darker than my Ranger that has 15% and a grey interior.

[QUOTE=CaMaRoMoE]Can any of you guys with the 5% see out at night?? Just curious, because i have to re-tint my windows, and i thought about doing 15% all the way around...but on the other hand i might do 5%. Im just worried about not see out at night...and also I dont want to keep getting pulled over by damn cops for having my windows too dark! do they pay attention to it that much?? Im in NC btw..

I have 5% all around with 15% on the windshield and another 5% sunstrip on top of that. As long as you are in town where there is alot of light you can see fine. The only time I have trouble is when I'm on a country road that I don't know. Or when it rains. I have had the windshield tinted on my past two vehicles and I love it! It's nice to be able to sit in your car and nobody ever know who's in there are what ;you are doing.

I have 5% all the way around and i love it. But at night if your not in a well lit area it is pretty hard to see whats behind you. Sometimes while parking i have to roll down the side windows to make sure i dont hit anything.

chevy suburbans, tahoes, s10 blazers, etc, the 95ish+ ones all get 20% charcoal tint, i was told. i brought my dad's 99 suburban to a tinting place here and i asked them to tint the fronts, and match it to the back. they said it would be no problem since they have the same tint they use... and it matched perfectly, inside and outside.

ended up getting 20% charcoal on my rear window, and 5% on the sides.

I have 35% on the doors and 20% on the hatch on my 2000 Trans Am. I dont know how to post pics, lol But I live in NJ and tint is completely illegal to have on the front of the car, but i figured if i didnt go too dark (35%), I might not get pulled over. However, 35% still seems to be a little too dark. I love the way it looks though.
