Default nose to hood alignment

I want to get my car looking as good as possible on the outside, and then finish up my INT and try to sell it localy, but i need to get this nose fitted right. It fits great on teh passangerside, but bad on teh driverside, the gaps too big. This gap occured when we took teh nose of, and then put it back on, so I assume its something easy to shim up, but im lost on what to do... Any tips? want a picture?

You mean price? Im gonna try to get more than its worth, or trade it plus cash for a 98+ or a c4 vette. I've just grown apart from the car. I used to love it, but its fucked me over a few times, I fear that the relablity will go down the crapper soon... but like I said, im going to do my complete int, and see if that brings me closer to the car. But I can't live with these body gaps.

and here you are telling me not to sell my car, what a hypocrite! Reliability goes away only if you let it...hell I cammed mine at 140k and she's doing fine. Finally fixed my opti problem--cam pin was too long...she's as reliable as ever. You'll never get enough out of your T/A to afford a C4 which is any more reliable, and I highly doubt you'll get enough to afford a decent LS1. Hell Spuds I was pushing it asking $6900 for my car and it's 360 hp at the wheels...just being honest with you, not trying to preach.

Oh I know, but your cars nice man, mines not, totally different thing IMHO. I know I wont get enough out of mine to get a c4 or ls1, but I could get a decent amount of cash to put down on one... My car wasn't taken care of for the first 140k miles, and every time I turn around its one more ******* thing with this car. I hate the squeaks and creaks of it, I hate the car, bottom line. I got sfc's on the way to see if that changes my problems with the ride and squeaks and ****. Im going to TRY to fix everything I hate about my car, and see if I can stop not liking it. I've hated my car since 2 months after having it, the first time it took a crap on me, I fixed it, week later, wrecked it, fixed that, week later, she left me stranded again... I'm getting tired of the car, once I get my sfc's in, my INT done, and the exhaust problems I'm having fixed, I will re evaluate my love for my car, if I still don't like it, Its gone, I've never liked lt1 t/a's to begin with...

All you can really do is loosen up the bolts on the fender, hood and bumper cover and play around with it. Then tighten them up.
Not sure about the LT1 pop ups, but the LS1 headlight covers have 4 adjustable screws that allow you to move it up, down, left and right.

If your so disappointed with it, cut your losses and sell it. No point in trying to fix everything when you will hate the car forever anyways.

I have to atleast finish my INT first, no ones gonna want a car with a half assed int, and I also already have bougth the sfc's, got a killer deal.Im just so confused on what to do. Im looking at some black on black c4's in the 10-13k dollar range, and just want to kill for them, I just absolutly love them. When I was searching for a f-body, this car is absolutly the exact opposite of what I wanted. Literaly, I said, I want any f-body, that isn't white, and that doesnt have a tan int. I also said that if its a lt1 car, I would hate for it to be a T/A... But we found one we thought was nice, and I though " If I don't grab this one, I may never find something better " so I did, and LOVED it at first, but just b/c It was a f-body, and it was better than all of my friends cars, but now that I have started to learn what I am dealing with here, I just don't want it.. Well see though.

FWIW, i got my LS1 for 8k with 80k miles, it now has 99k miles, and runs strong as hell, and has never given me trouble, except for the fuel pump going out, which is entirely my fault, for trying to go as far as i can on E, and burnt out the pump.

reliability is in the hands of the owner, i knew a guy in the same situation as you, little things started breaking, he didnt want to fix anything, and it became overwhelming with stupid little things, like blinkers, power seats, window motors, ac, and he then traded it in for a new GTO.

moral of the story, regardless of what car you drive, reliability is in the hands of the owner, and you choose to keep up with it, or let it go to ****, and from what ive seen, you've taken that car a long way, for the better, you just have to keep working at it.

I cant see how you guys can say reliablity is in the hands of the owner? Atleast not THIS owner... When ever anything goes wrong with my car, I fix it, I don't let stupid little **** go on for ever, I get the **** fixed, but how is it in my hands that every time I turn around some other small bullshit thing goes wrong with the car? I mean, jesus, how much can I take, IDK. Maybe my feelings will change, who knows, but I do know that I would kill for a c4, but then again, why spend 10k of a lt1 c4, when I could spend less and get a f-body, idk, its a weird deal, I think this maybe one of those things that after a bit of time passes, and a few small details have worked themselves out, I may start to like it again, who knows.

Yea I may grow to like mine, well see. My family and I both got screwd. My dad bought a truck with a salvage title unknowningly, and I got this pos, bandaided and sold.... One thing after another with both of them, but money bags ( dad ) got rid of his for a newer truck, so he has no worries now, just me...

Why bother putting the SFC's in if you are gonna sell it? It will add ZERO value to the car. Keep them off and try to get $40 for them on ebay. That's like a free tank of gas.
