I bought some silicone and put a small bead around the edge that touches the plastic panel. Works great no rattles...

Mine do this, too. I've experimented, but haven't come up with a solid solution yet.

That'd be great, but then I couldn't remove the cover(s) when/if I wanted to...

well, you could pry them off if you needed to change a blown speaker or something. it's not like super glue. i'm gonna try the silicone idea.

no, I took off the cover, put a bead around the edge of the cover, let it dry, then reinstalled it. I cant see the bead unless I take the cover off, it allows me to take the cover off when I need to, and it doesnt rattle anymore. As for the covers coming loose on their own I guess you could check to see if you have broken tabs or try gently bending the tabs to make it where it will make a secure fit and not rattle loose, but with the bead of silicone it will not rattle anymore so it probably wont come loose anymore... hope this helps, good luck...

i had to take the speaker covers off after i installed my system. the best solution that i found was to get some of the 3m emblem adhesive tape and wrap some around the tab that holds the cover in place. It's been almost a year and no rattles, the door speakers are another story though

The door speakers are easy to get to stop rattling. When I had my door panel off changing my speakers, I just JB welded the whole speaker cover on, no rattles and it doesn't matter because you have to take off the door panel to mess with the speaker anyways.
