Default Some Other LT1 FRCs

These are available from our sponsor Afterthoughts Auto. Come completely painted, no work for you to do. Simply bolt on and go. Come complete with necessary mounting studs and color matched to whatever color you want.

This one was actually for a 1994 Corvette, therefore no cuts or modifications were necessary. Filled in factory lettering and replaced with chrome.

This one was for an FBody, so you can see the necessary cuts to fit.

Competition and choice is a great thing!!

Depends on the specific paint color. Metallics and pearls cost more. Average is under $250.00 and for instance the blue cover was a color I will probably never use again so I gave the unused paint, about 9/10 of the pint, to this gentleman to use for whatever he wants. That alone was about a $55 value to him. Raw LT1 covers are significantly more than LS1 covers, for whatever reason I don't know since they are smaller, plus you have to buy the 4 mounting studs to go with them which adds another $12 to the cost. I try to absorb some of that.

Yea, by the time it's all said and done I make next to nothing on the LT1 covers simply because I can't price them too high or as you can see from your other responses, they ain't gonna sell!!!! We provide them mainly as a service in order to not leave out the LT1 guys.

I'd would love to buy LT1 FRC's, but not something that has the 'corvette' lettering on it.

How much for the 'Formula' lettering?

What was used to fill in the corvette lettering? How does that filler hold up again cracking through the paint and how well does it hold up under the high temps?

I use automotive glazing putty to fill in the lettering. I can tell you I have made over 600 sets of these covers and have yet to have one come back or hear of complaints about them cracking, same with the heat.
