Default New seats vs inserts

Ok here it is. I've held back on the mods for awhile because I want to make a nice stylishing custom interior. Now. I want to redo most if not all of the interior I want two tone seats front and rear and jet black carpet for the inside and I want to redo the door panels but I don't know how or where to get the parts to do that or design them. Now my last question hence the title is should I get entirly new seats or should I stick with the ones I have and buy... what are they called inserts from autoleathers.com or should I buy new seats and if i get new seats where should I get them from? I would also like to get new colors for the dash that don't look like they are made from plastic. Just wanting your guys opinions. I don't want to spend a fortune but I also don't want somthings thats going to be cheap and that can't hold up. Thanks for the help guys. Sites and links are appreciated.

I would get new seats... Theses seats are cool and cheap (generally $600 for a pair of these in leather BUT the new site I found has them for $399!!!):

and MANY more color combos to choose from here (all $399 for a PAIR of leather seats!):

Ha! Yeah, for $400 I'll get the black ones and have a lumbar added... Then if I want an insert I'll do it...

I considered those, but they arent perforated leather, and thats gets swampy. I bought some nice black cloth seats, they should be comfortable

Default Try This!!

I was actually looking to redo my interior also, i found this website http://www.leatherseats.com/Camaro_leather_kit.asp that sells a kit with everything you need including the back seats, door panels and even instructions with tools. They are actually covers for your oringinal seats. You just take the cloth or leather whatever you had stock and replace them with the new material. They will even embroider whatever you want in the seat rests. I was really hesitant at first because there covers but I talked to the guy over the phone and he said they come custom fit and tight so they dont really look like a cover, there acutally replacing the material with new stuff so it looks original. They have over 60 different color choices and really good pics that you can look at. However its almost $800 for everything but thats EVERYTHING you need to do it. Let me know what you think

Aftermarket seats suck unless you're doing a full out race car. Stick with the factory seats.

id go with the aftermarket seats because they look cooler then oem are alot lighter and if you need lumbar there are aftermarket solutions to fix that like the inflatable bladder from sparco thats pretty inexpensive.
