Default Color match Spray paint?

Is there anyone that makes color matched paint in spray cans? I want to spray my intake lid and bottem piece matching color of the car but i don't have the tools to get it done with paint shop paint.

yep, just go to local big chain auto store and pic up a spray can of duplicolor..

cool thanks I thought about them. Are they good quality spray paints? chipping looks and what clear to use duplicolor as well?

yea they are pretty good, i used duplicolor for my ground effects, painting is easy, the clear is a pain in the ***

your specific color may be difficult to find at the average autoparts store... i just googled and found this for ya http://lib.store.yahoo.net/lib/rodi/...praypaint.html

I see they do have my paint code but i've searched online at auto zone and its something they carry online or in the store would i have to go to the store and ask them to order it?

Use the first product on this page. I've used this and it's a perfect match (which isn't so easy in SOM)! Wouldn't use anything else again!

Pretty much any paint shop can put the color you need into a spray can for you.

quick question before i buy any paint the factory color code is 11 am i right or is it a bigger number?

You can buy small factory-color-code cans from your GM dealer.
They may have to order them tho, probably not in stock on their shelf.
Along with the primer & the clear-coat.
In the dealer paint-code book, there is a listing with GM part numbers for the 5oz cans.
For example, ...
12345119, Clear-coat
12378055, Pewter
12346549, SOM
12371320, NBM

Etc., Etc., ...

The paint code number i believe is 11U at least thats what it says on the build sheet do i have to look in the door on the car to find it on the car? or where can i look?

Im not sure if this holds for all clear paints but the one I used on a project comes out hazy/white and dries crystal clear.
