"WIDE OPEN" front bumber
hii guys...
im thunking about make my camaro front bumber "WIDE OPEN"
just like those :
the car is not A forced induction its NA
but i wanna a crazy air flow and a cooler engine..
what i should remove,relocate or replace from the underhood such as (baffles,washer bottle)
i need some more picz and work in process picz cuz i want to do it by my self then take it to the paint shop..
what do you think at all??

imo it would look ugly without the intercooler there...
take your bumper off and you will see....there is a large block of foam, than a steel bumper.....
it only looks good on the cars with an intercooler because its all 1 soild thing that you can see.
but its your car if you want to do it go for it

go for it, my friend and i had this idea for my car but its ezier for the camaro. cool air to the radiator is always a good thing. keeps the temps dopwn and it looks better. FI or not id do it.

After having my front bumper off a few times, I don't see it being able to get anymore air to the radiator then what it already gets from below.

The only way it would be different and look good would be if you take this car:
Paint the inside area black like this car did it and put a custom billet grill where this guys FMIC is. I think that would look nice.
If you put nothing there...it will look like *** IMO.

i know it would be ugly with out the intercooler..
guys im not a fool to keep it like this..i alredy have a billet grill..and my idea was to make the bumber wide open but with the billet grill
by some how i waana make a place to reinstall the bolts of the billet again..
got it??
i just wanna see some of your ideas..thats all
and hopefully there is some one who think like me "Avengeance"
Any other opinion??

If your just removing it then putting the grill back on, I don't think it'll look very different, it may mess with the strutural integrity of that area, (i.e. it might have a higher chance at bending/cracking the bottom if you scrape the front) I'd leave it man, black billet grill would look great.

again.....its still gonna look ugly with out an intercooler but if you are gonna do it look into doing like this....
its still gonna look a little weird without the intercooler back there but if you want to do it i figured i would help out with some more ideas.
