Default Cleaned my headlight lenses today

Used my cordless drill with buffing compound and then final polished it with Plastic X by Meguirs. They used to be all yellow. They look as good as new.

i love plastX. mine were getting a little cloudy so i hit them with the powerball and plastx and they look great. Nothing kills the appearance of your car more than dirty *** headlights.

What buffing attachment did you use? And where can you get buffers that attach to your cordless drill - Home Depot?

Got a wal-mart near by? go in the automotive section and they have a little $10 kit with 3 different drill attachments and everything you need minus the plastx.

I appreciate the feedback guys. I work at a small Mfg firm where our production employees buff acrylic and plastic using rubbing compund and Plastic X to fix flaws. These guys do this all day long and really know what they're doing. I asked them for advice and they were all too willing to help. They use 3M 3" Cotton buffing pads that are attached via velcro to a spindle.

I was unable to find these at a local store so they let me "borrow" some. The rubbing compund that they use comes in a gallon jug. It is fairly gritty and really works well. They poured some in a small container for me to take home. great bunch of guys. If I can help you guys in anyway, please let let know.

Even though there are no before pics, i know how bad these headlights can get, and those look virtually brand new, Awesome job
