Basically $10 for the wash and $25 for a regular wax. If he wants a FULL DETAIL with every inch looked after, then $75 minmum for the whole job. Depends if you do good work too

I agree, its like not changing your own oil. But you might as well make some money off of people that dont want to do it themselves.

Nah not overkill at all. Mine is wiped down on a daily basis to get rid of the dirt and dust and pollen or whatever might be on there and is given a fresh coat of Tropi-Care polish almost weekly. Then about once every other month, I strip it all down with claybar and give it the full meal deal again and go back to wiping it down and polishing again.

Water is one of your paints worst enemies. If you keep it clean by wiping it down w/ a towel, car duster, or with detail spray, you won't ever have to use water to wash it again. Mine has not seen water in months and months and looks better than it does if I would have washed it with water in there. Too many deposits, chlorine and other BS in water to take the chance.

I get $125-$150 for an 8 hour full detail job depending on weather its a 2-door/4-door or suv. This involves taking off old wax, claying, removing any scuffs, polishing, vacuuming/cleaning interior.
