Default On A Set Of Polished Tt2's .....

Is it possilbe to get them chromed and it hold up??? i know i have seen the ones you can buy but the inner part is chromed and the lip is just left polished....anybody know i got a set of polished setting in the garage and was wandering on getting them chromed .......

Yes you can have them chromed. I've seen several people do it.

Another option is to polish the crap out of them and then get them clearcoated... You'll keep the shine just by washing them...

yea but im not a big fan of polished period lol , my grandfather scarred me at a early age polishing on all his streetrods at the shows lol. chrome is so much more wonderful to clean and the shine......

Polishing isn't a big deal once you get use to it. I polish my wheels once a month and it's enough to keep them looking good. If I do it every two weeks I don't have to do as much work

Yea for getting them chromed i had a idea about it awhile back getting them black chromed but my only concern is with their two piece wheels and where the seam mates with thh lip and center on the lip i dont think no one warranties if the chrome does not stay or splits ...yikes alotta $$ for something so sweet but starting to seem out of reach

Just wanted to give ya a heads up - if you wanted the info on the guy that does my plating for chroming wheels or doing Black Chrome - sorry to say he doesn't do either He doesn't chrome bumpers either - he straightens them but his tanks are not big enough to chrome.
