Default where does front license plate mount to? 98 camaro

I bought my car with a billet grill already on it... after a few cops pulled me over and said I need a front license plate on my car, I ordered the rubber peice with the slots that says "CAMARO" but I cant figure out how to mount my license plate to it? Do I just drill holes to fit the plate? It already has 3 holes but none line up to the plate holes.

iif i were you i would mount it to the billet grille

you can zip tie it behind it or infront of it...behind it looks better in my opinion but might still get u pulled over.....

Do like me and mount it to your garage wall. That's where it looks the best, not on your car! But on a serious note either mount it to a billet grill or buy that plate mount that SLP sells. It attaches somewhere behind the front bumper, looks Fugly in my opinion. Best of luck.

Yeah, just put your Billet grill back on and get this bracket from SLP:

boo front plates.

try mounting it behind the grill first and see if you get any flak about it before mounting it somewhere on the outside.
