Push Start Button
i have a Honda S2000 Push button i'll sell somebody for this mod. I bought it new for $50 shipped. Will take $40 shipped on it. I was gonna do this mod to my '96Z28 but sold it,for the car in sig, before i got it done. i think it's a cool mod and it is a little extra but what's 1 more second to have something different then most cars.

if you wire it just like its supossed to be and you wire the push button like it is also. then you should have no probs. if you are putting it on an auto it wont move they have neutral safety switch on them. and i believe that on standards (m6) they have a switck on the e-brake. most all shops will not install one on a manual trans though.

if your question is about push buton start robman it depends on what your system is linked to, essintially a push part start just connects a relay off the power and ignition wires and 2 grounds off that relay go to the pushbutton (bypassing the ignition function of the key) you will still need the key to turn the car on to get power to it but cant start the engine without pushing the button itself.
now can you still start your car with a key as the system sets??
if so then i dont think it would affect you, but my question then would be if you have remote start why bother with a push button??
i wanted to bypass the v.a.t.s altogether and put a switch to get the power and then push the button to get her going but never really looked into it.
