If you've already installed a push button, it shouldn't be that hard to change the button...you'll just need to figure out which pins do what and wire accordingly.

If you cross your eyes and then relax them, the push button in the pic below will jump out at you:

You'll need a plug to interface with the S2000 engine start button...a good portion (if not all) of the info you need is here:

Did you need a adapter or anything or was it just plug and play?

Use a small round file to wobble out the hole of the cig lighter. The switch isnt quite round, it has weird notches. Once in it locks with little clips.

how hard would it be to switch my current push button (ignited performance, non illumnited http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Engin...item56433e25a4 ) to a honda S2000 push button?

all i really want to do is change out the button, not the wiring or anything else. the text is starting to wear off the current button.
I know I'm late to the party here (I think you mentioned you purchased to S2000 button), but for future reference, I have the illuminated version of the ignited button and after a couple years the text wore off on mine too...I just contacted ignited http://www.ignitedperformance.com/shop/ and told them what happened and they sent me a new button lense. This time I sprayed a layer of clear-coat over the button lense (the lense actually unscrews from the button) and it's been perfect ever since.

Also if you want to restore your key functionality in the ignition:
Where the install instructions http://www.bowlingss.com/Mods/Instal...e%20Switch.mht cut the yellow wire (7th and 8th picture), you need to join it back together...I tapped into this yellow wire instead of cutting it for my install incase I ever needed to use the key.
