Default Flitz

Has anybody used the FLITZ retoration kit? Cause my headlights are yellowing and are kinda ruff on the outisde. It looks like it would work pretty good and I kinda dont feel like wasting a couple hours just sanding the headlights. If anybody has had any experience with this product, just let me know......

Thats WELL over $100 and i would rather spend my money on other mods first. If I got new ones, they would be black HALO'S. I would rather just spend $40 and get the stock ones lookin good with the Flitz setup if it really works.....

Are you sure it's just on the outside? Because I'd be willing to bet it's on the inside of the lens cause that's where the moisture builds up

Flitz worked really well on my wheels, but when I tried it on my headlights it didn't do a whole lot, and I did wet sand them a bit before trying it. You would probably have to sand them a good bit to get decent results.

get the meguires professional series palstic cleaner and polish, 2 different bottles, and take a course terry cloth and buff it by hand, or a buffer if you have one. they wone be perfect but it brings the clarity back out a good bit.

Why are you so against wet sanding?? Wet sanding and buffing is probably going to give you the best results. And It doesn't take that long. water, soap and sandpaper is pretty cheap. Find somebody with a orbital buffer if you don't have one. Hell, give a body shop $10 and tell them to run the buffer across your headlights a few times to make them shine. They'll know what to do..
