Na its a Harwood 3" hood. VFN doesn't have anything like that. Def think they should do a mockup of a Cobra R hood on a Camaro & some kind of design like Harwood 3" hood.

Its a 400sbc with a big single. Car has been 7.58@190 letting off at 1000ft due to fuel pump failure. If he stayed in it, it would of went a .49 at 195 or so. Has potential for 200mph plus if we can get it dialed in. Thanks for the compliments, and im sure my buddy would highly appreciate it.

Great thread! I am looking to buy a sunoco hood in January. How much blocking had to be done on these hoods?

That's right, I'm reviving this ************! I KNOW there have to have been PLENTY of more members that got VFN hoods since last posting and I hope those who posted unpainted hood pics can post painted pics. (Unfortunately, I still can't post painted pics. :/

Sjsingle,if you want a perfect fit go oem,vfn makes a beyond killer fiberglass hood, but it is a fiberglass hood, oem will always fit better thats just the way it is,not knocking vfn whatso ever,my vfn hood fits great and i have no complaints, even a handful of body guys said it was the best fiberglass hood they had ever seen, just letting you know before ya think a fiberglass/race car hood will fit 100% as oem,im very happy with my vfn hood

i couldn't be happier with the fitment on my hood. i did absolutely ZERO work to make it fit. spent about 30 min total from the time i tore the box open until i closed it the final time and pulled it to the wash bay.

only things i modified where the tabs on the hinges and latch, i didn't even have to drop the inside piece of my hinges down at all to make it sit flush.

Stock WS6 VFN bolt-on hood on my 1998 TA. VFN installed the hood at their Addison location and did a top-notch job with fitment and was very meticulous putting it on. Couldn't be happier.
