Got my 4" cowl when hardly anyone else had one.. and now that everyone is getting the sunnoco, i still dont see many of these. Sucks that the struts cause damage thoguh.. they should have re-enforced that area..
You can see the strut damage on both sides of the cowl in this pic.

i had a 96 Ta and i bought a 4inch ram air cowl for it and people would compliment on it all the time. VFN is a great company to deal with, and i would recommend looking at them first before you buy a hood for your vehicle.

I'm not sure about other fiberglass companies, but I'm pretty sure VFN may be one of the only companies to even offer grills. This is a huge plus if your looking for that OEM look.

After ordering a hood from VFN, it arrived in about 5 weeks.
When the truck backed up to my garage and the driver opened the door, I was very dissapointed to see the hood box OPEN !
After unloading the hood, I seen that a corner had been Smacked and looked to me like the upper and bottom panels were seperated at the corner.
I called VFN while the driver waited. The gal on the other end said, "Go ahead and accept it and mark on the receipt DAMAGED IN SHIPPING, then if you decide to send it back, call us?"
After taking it to 2 shops and receivieng estimates, I decide to send it back as the structural integrity had been degraded.
Boy did I get the run around, However they honored what that gal said and sent me another one.
Went and picked up the other one yesterday and It looks GREAT !
There are hardly any places that will need to be block sanded .
I'lll post a pic after installation.
Thanks to VFN for coming through ! !

well i got ym VFN hood finally painted. no pics, i left it at the body shop still. the hood was very wavey, and when they were blockinh it, and when it came time to paint it, you couls not pin holes, but other hols where the paint did not grab. so the body shop is going to touch it up and fix it some more
I will get pic when i pick it up

New pics of my car with the hood (Smooth Sunoco) painted (reposting from another thread):
Let your eyes feast (I took about 100 pics so this is just the tip of the iceburg) !!!
Didn't detail (or even wipe down) the car, no cool backgrounds and a crappy camera but I wanted to get some pics up here so here they are:
Recently converted the interior from grey to ebony (I swapped dashes as well)... Short of a black leather arm rest cover I'd say she's done:
The man who stuck to a plan...
The wife...
The hood...
I LOVE THE HOOD EVEN MORE NOW!!!
