Can anyone tell me if they make an OEM style ram air hood for the LT1 cars? They have a 4" raised hood listed that I have contemplated but they also have a "flat" style hood listed. Anyone know if the "flat" style hood is the OEM ram air style? Please let me know. I am going to place my order through them due to reputation and they are only a few hours from here so I can pick it up instead of worrying about it being damaged in shipping.

Make sure you know what hood you want before you place the order. I just canceled mine that I placed on Wednesday the 8th with them today. They said a 5 week wait on the hood. I called to cancel the hood (it has only been one week). They charged me a 20% restock fee on hood that was not even made yet (this is bullshit)! I had already placed new order with us exoctics, that is the company that VFN told me to get in touch with to order the regular WS9 hood they could not provide. I will not bash them in thread. Just letting you know what you are instore for if you change you mind on the hood that takes 5 weeks to start on because they are backed up.

From VFN's website:
ORDER CANCELLATION: Any canceled orders will be subject to a 20% restocking fee to be assessed at the discretion of VFN.

They clearly state their cancellation policy and then when they follow it you get pissed?! I mean how hard is it to order the hood you want?

AT THE DISCRETION OF VFN. They are the ones who directed me to roger at us exoctics after I placed the order. I could see 20% if they had even started the hood. I even told them I would pay 8% because i know it cost a bussiness about 4% every time they run a credit card. Just the facts everything is not black in white otherwise it would read 20% NO EXCEPTIONS.

Look I know VFN makes great hood. I did not know when I ordered the WS9 outlaw that it was so much taller than the ws6. Then I found out that there is just a regular size ws9 hood made. I did not cancel my order because of the wait, I canceled becuse I want the regular ws9 hood and VFN directed me to us exoctics since they can not produce the regular ws9 hood.
