Looks like I better order now then. I need swirl cutter, and my car is not as bad as the red one you posted, so I'll just see how your kit does for starters.

Edit: Just ordered.

Emailing you now Steve. I'd like to get in on the swirl cutter deal and add the yellow and white cutting pads to it as well. Do I just use the same swirl remover on all the pads and the different grades of pads do all the cutting and swirl removal I need?

Josh:

Response sent.

The yellow pad/appropriate chemical will only be needed for removal of stubborn spider scratches on the surface. Its use may lead to some micro-marring during the removal of those blemishes.

However, it can be cleaned up with the use of the orange pad and Swirl Cutter combo on the PC. Using the white pad after the orange will give you greater clarity on the surface. Once you satisfied with the results, the blue pad will be used to apply your last step product.

Since you may be a beginner or novice with the use of a machine like this PC, there will be a small learning curve involved as you get acclimated to its capabilities. Always start with a least aggressive approach on the paint surface and increase only as needed to obtain desired results.

Feel free to contact us with any other questions.

Your timing is impeccable. I was just driving back from Easter last night thinking about buying a Porter Cable kit and made a mental note to find the best kit. Looks like I found it. Ironically I finished off my Zaino kit last fall too.
