car wash soap
car wash soap i use blue coral for car wash soap and i now just found turtles new ICE soap. so my Q's are have anyone used ICE car wash or what do u guys think the best car soap is?
I've been using Meguiar's Gold Class soap, Zaino's car wash, and Tropi-Care's soap, all with good results. I also use Black Magic from time to time, mostly on the wheels and undercarriage. I'm not crazy about Black Magic on the rest of the car, though. It tends to leave a film that I don't like.

Poor Boy's Super Slick & Suds is my favorite .. but damn, it is expensive ($40 a gallon). I only use it on high end details ..
Meguiar's Gold class, and Tropi-care TC-6 Premium Car Wash are my two favorite for everyday type use.

use a nice, high quality lamb's wool or chenile wash mitt .. MF sponges do not have enough nap to properly protect while cleaning, in my opinion.

When searching for car wash soap, there are number of factors that can be considered:
Cost- Remember the saying: You get what you pay for. Getting a 64 ounce size concentrate for less than $10 may seem like a bargain until you start using it. You may go through it faster than you think to get the job done.
Number of uses/container- How much concentrate/per wash do you need to use to get adequate soap suds and surface dirt removal ability?
Lubricity- The ability of your soapy solution to surround the light dirt on the surface and safely remove without scratching while washing.
Cleaning ability- Is the concentrate so stringent, that it is removing your paint protection after rinsing the surface?
Continued use of Dawn with its strong degreaser quality can lead to drying out and cracking of the exterior seals and trim surfaces of the vehicle.
If you really want to clean the surface before applying your last step protection products, wash the surface thoroughly and clay bar as needed.
Re-wash or rinse all soap residue after claying all the surfaces and dry the surface. Inspect and remove any swirl marks/holograms and spider scratches using the appropriate products.
Once you are ready to apply your sealant or wax, swab with a 50/50 mixture of isopropyl alcohol and distilled water, Prepsol or Acryil-clean to remove any remaining product residues from the surface. This will give you a direct bonding to a perfectly clean paint surface.
