Since my hood struts are almost 15 years old, they are weaker than stock (hell i had to replace my hatch struts since they were almost worn out) i installed an oem LT1 WS6 hood and it doesn't open the hood too fast at all. i'd think that worn oe struts are comperable to new lower psi ones.

i know this thread is old but hey...i have a WS6 trufiber hood on the way and was wondering what hood struts to get from that orororor site haha if any of yall have the part number still PM me
