I got a steal on this car. It was A 1 owner car, the guy traded it on a GTO. It runs like its new. The brakes squeak really bad, i checked the pads and they are fine, so i'm not sure what the deal is. Anyways its a 2000 with only 54,000 miles. and does it scoot! The color is awesome, it looks different in different light.

^fingernail and patience. you could take a hair dryer and heat it up pretty good and try using a plastic blade gently. Car looks really good! I like the color.

Nice car! I always loved that color, my 1999 Trans-Am was that color:

I always wanted to get a Z that color and make a clone of this car:

Nonsense! I see a couple specs of dust on the t-top line and a few fingerprints on the windshield!

Nice looking Z. Looks like a blank slate all ready for some modding. For starters, I suggest a bit-viper antenna as the stock antennas just look plain silly imo.

congrats man looks really good, you should get the old school z28 badge and put it on the bottom left of your grille and get some new tips and your z will look real good.

I payed 11,300 for it. I took the Dealer logo off too btw, the first things i'm going to do to it is new exaust which i'm undecided on, but ill probably go with the slp loudmouth. I also need to get the windows tinted and after that who knows. I'm already used to the power i want more. Funds are a bit low right now, i have my first months payment, insurance sales tax and tags to pay for so no modding quite yet. someone mentioned getting a lid on it well i'm not going to pay hundreds of dollars on things i won't see an improvment in. I think the only thing i need right now is new exaust. The stock one is too damn quiet. You can't even hear it at idle. Thanks for the comments though guys! And then after that i may get some chrome ZR-1's that'll make this beast look nice. For my funds the stock power is plenty for me.

On a budget I's go with a Magnaflow... Looks good (nice tips), sounds good and is one of the best budget performers...

Berger panel the back and spray the front grille (satin black) while you're at it... Two mods you can do for under $20 and it will make it look even more badass !

Berger panel the back? I kinda like the way the grilles look now.

Every where i've seen magnaflow is running 600+ for a complete system. I don't have a lift or anything though. How much would i expect to pay for an exaust shop to do it? And do you think just adding the muffler and tips would be good enough or is it worth it to go the whole nine yards?
