Default Detail: Mercedes C230 *Black* 56k No!

Got a hold of my buddies C230, car was in very rough shape. Water spots all over the place, bug/tar on front end and the rear of the car was a mess, these cars have headlight nozzle sprayers to clean the headlights, well when they spray all that soapy water falls onto the back of the car, thus leaving a bunch of HARD water spots.

Took me a long time to detail this car, i wanted to make it perfect.

This is the process i followed

Degrease tires/wheels engine bay/Spray off w/high pressure
Wash car with Meguiars Detailer Shampoo/Sheepskin Mit/Dry
Claybar entire car
Pinnacle Paint Lotion/applied and removed
Orange Cutting Pad w/porter cable applied Menzerna Intensive Polish to the whole car/wiped off
White Cutting Pad w/porter cable applied Menzerna Final Polish II wiped/off
Vacuum interior/Zaino leather on seats, and trim dressing
Polish door jams by hand
Detailed wheels and applied Meguiars Tire Gel
Cleaned Windows
Applied Pinnacle Souveran Paste Wax to vehicle ($80 wax) allowed to haze for 30 minutes wiped off with microfibre
Go over whole car with Pinnacle Shine Enhancer w/polish cloth

here are the before pictures

After pics....Check out the reflection shots!

Very nice. You're right, that thing was in rough shape before the detail. Now it looks better than brand new.

You dont HAVE to let it haze, you could apply and wipe off, i just let it haze for a while as i cleaned the wheels.

I do more than just 1 detail, this week should be a booked schedule. Looking to do 15-20 cars a month.

That's a 07 model isn't it? My mom almost traded her 05 for an 07...but then landed up with a BMW 328i instead. Those cars have some nice paint....nano something...or self curing paint, I know the silver C230 Kompressor my mom used to have never really developed swirl marks, then again, it was silver and I did teach her well!

But awesome job on the detail...I am so lazy when it comes to detailing my car, but when I do it, it usually takes me 4 days or so.
