This isnt really all that involved, its actually extremely subtle but:

Switched out my HVAC controls for a 97-02 Camaro one. I also replaced my TCS plaque with the cubby hole thing that Camaros have since I dont have TCS anymore:



Switched out my shifter plate for a 97-02 Camaro one:



Switched out the Headlight switch overlay, **** and wheel for a 97-02 Camaro one (the whole device itself doesnt fit, so I just swapped out the parts I needed):



Switched out the steering wheel controls for Camaro/Monte Carlo/Grand Prix ones:



Replaced my stock dome and reading lamps for LED ones:




Just need the gauge cluster overlay from a 97-02 Camaro and some hyper white LEDs and ill be set to go with my blue interior lighting.

Like I said, nothing crazy, just got rid of the red interior lighting and the grey ***** that come with our cars. I think the ***** compliment 00-02 black interiors much better.

 

Those changes look great! I've always thought the gray ***** were an eye sore.

 

Pretty sure we have the same stereo but I'm not sure if you figured this out yet or not but you can switch the blue lights to red. Ik they bugged me before i figured out how to do it.

For what I have read somewhere ...is that there are some new subtle chrome vent rings around. I believe Boyd makes them aswell,he made my older ones, the thicker ones .I believe they are a lot cheaper aswell.

 

Ok HUff035, where exactly do I get those newer style vent rings like you have? Do they still allow you to move your vents around freely? Also, what Alpine HU is that you have?

 

anyone know where to get black steering wheel controls for the radio?

 

They are the same ones from boyd, and I'm pretty sure my headunit is the CDA-9884. And yes the vents work just like they do before the rings.

ok will look into the camaro controls.......does anyone have a good place to get a custom tcs plate? i've looked everywhere i know which is not many places. any help would be appreciated.

You mean to tell me that you never saw that yet Mike?? Sheesh :p. BTW we got some realllllllllllllllllllllllly cool pics of some '10 Camaros in the OBX. I'll post some up in a few days. We're headed to Williamsburg tomorrow where there's suppose to be 35+ Camaros!
