Not sure what happened to my other thread I started recently. Anyway, I got my white LED gauge kit last week and installed it over the weekend. It seemed like one spot was noticeable darker than the rest. So, I removed the LED and put it back in. Same thing.

I then moved the LED position to one of the other positions where the LEDs go, and the "dark spot" followed wherever that LED went. Just for ***** and giggles, I put a stock bulb in there and even that was brighter than this LED.

I sent LEDgauges a PM, but just wondering if any of you have experienced "bad" LEDs.

Bad LEDs aren't uncommon, and LEDgauges will likely replace the entire bulb for free.

LEDs are more of a direct light, therefore they won't cover what normal lighting would.

These are special made bulbs to dispure the light 180 degrees, so that is not the problem.

Thanks Nathan ... looks like the polarity was reversed as you suggested. I didn't even pay attention to the polarity and I guess I got 4 out of 5 correct the first time
