Default Just got muy windows tinted...

no pics, i was just wondering if its normal to have little tiny bubbles, its hardly noticeable but if you look hard you can see them, the guys at the shop said they would dry with time and you wont be able to see them. i didnt know if they were being truthful or if they were bullshitting me.

they are correct there water bubbles. my tint shop said to let the car sit in the sun for a few days and they would go away. Sure enough they did. After 4 or 5 days if they are still there i would take it back. They should be gone by then.

yeah, when i got mine done it had little tiny bubbles, shortly went away sitting in the sun.

^ same thing happend to me last 2 times i got tint.... it all went away after a few days

wen its dry in a few days what you should do is get a piece of black vinyle and put it inside over the tint by the dot matrix in your back window to make it look clean btw.

the dot matrix is at the top of the hatch.. its a series of little tiny dots that dont allow the tint to adhere in between the dots leaving a bunch of uglyness

with so many posts how do you not know what the dot matrix is lol

I know what the "dot matrix" is, what i dont understand is what the black vinyl is for... maybe a pic would help!

I have black vinyl over mine. the tint place just put it over the dot matrix... because tint does not go well over the dot matrix.

I did the vinal as well on my 03 stang and it looked pretty nice. Didnt have to do it on my SS as the guy who tinted my windows did a geat job!

Hmm..well i let mine sit in the sun a while and the bubbles went away on the sides but their is still bubbles on the back at the top.
