Default Blackout covers suck!!!

purchased all 3 pairs for the car, and these things just barely hang on....easily fall off and they dont even fit right. well the ones on the back. and how the hell do the front ones go on!!

thats funny, cause i have had my tail light and turn signal blackouts on for 2 years. I will be going with VHT pretty soon though.

mine fit fine, and to put the front ones on you push one side of the cover all the way in and then push in the other side.....

Get some sticky velcro, that's how I did my rears when I had them.

yea i used velcro for the rears....VHT for the turn signals and the fronts fit perfect.

light covers suck

dont fit on cars. they fit really good in the garbage tho

i purchased all GTO's. do u have to take the rear lights off to install them? i just cant see how these are suppose to hang on.....and how 'bout the front turn signals?

They are not gto's, they are gts.....my tail covers are actually hella hard to pop off if the truck is closed, try unscrewing your brake lights from the back and pushing them down to hold the taillight covers on better

I've had my blackouts for about 2 years and they have been perfect. Mine are maid by AVS though.

blackouts can also warp you tail lights from heat, did it to mine which is why I no longer use them

I have AVS as well, they fit snug but not so much on the pass side after someone hit the qtr panel, still love it though.

covers suck... got a ticket for this crap....

spray the lenses with tinted clear and you'll be fine....

i had avs blackout covers for taillights on my ta...but i drop left side cover after a week . now i just black them out with VHT , i think it look more cleaner then covers and at night the lights seem much more brighter then covers. VHT !! COOL STUFF

Back when I had AVS blackout covers on my tailights and front turn signals I never had any problems with them falling off, even at 100+ mph .....
