I bought a 1 quart plastic container of Fastbond from Amazon last fall. Is that what you're talking about? It will work fine using a brush or roller to apply. Not sure why they care if you're a professional other than maybe a CYA move for them.

Has anyone used the jug with a brush, or is there now a better choice?
I bought the plastic jug and it works great
